The Teak Forest comprises of five wooden chalets supported on stilts, sited besides a lake across which the famous Lion Rock of Sigiriya can be seen. Set within a small teak plantation, it provides a relaxing, hide away in a rural setting. The chalets have en-suite bathrooms , a verenda and twin beds.

The needs of modern day travellers are catered for with hot showers and multiple plug points for charging camera , laptops etc.

It is conveniently situated for access to Sigiriya, elephant watching at the Kaudulla and Minneriya National Parks and within an hour's drive of the ancient kingdoms of Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa.
